What You Need Before You Start
Setting up IPTV on Windows is incredibly straightforward. Ensure you have the following ready:
Don’t have a subscription yet?
Get your login credentials instantly by choosing a plan from MODE IPTV. Once ordered, you’ll receive your Username, Password, and Server URL via email.
Method 1: Install IPTV Smarters Pro (Native Windows App)
IPTV Smarters Pro has a dedicated `.exe` application built specifically for Windows. This is our top recommendation as it perfectly supports Xtream Codes, VODs, and an interactive TV Guide.
Download the Windows App
Open your web browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox) and navigate to the official download page: iptvsmarters.com/download. Click on the button to download the Windows `.exe` file.
Install the Software
Locate the downloaded `.exe` file in your Downloads folder and double-click it. Follow the standard Windows installation prompts. If Windows Defender prompts a warning, click “More Info” and “Run Anyway”.
Login with Xtream Codes
Launch the app and click “Login with Xtream Codes API”. Enter your MODE IPTV details (Name, Username, Password, and Server URL). Click Add User and enjoy!
Method 2: Setup via VLC Media Player (M3U Link)
If you prefer not to install dedicated IPTV software, you can use the world-famous VLC Media Player. This method relies on the **M3U URL** provided in your MODE IPTV welcome email.
Download & Open VLC
If you don’t already have it, download VLC from videolan.org and install it. Open the VLC application on your Windows PC.
Open Network Stream
In the top menu bar, click on Media, then select Open Network Stream… (or press CTRL+N on your keyboard).
Paste Your M3U Link
Paste your full MODE IPTV M3U URL into the network URL box. Click Play. VLC will take a few moments to load the massive channel list. To view the channel list, click View > Playlist (or CTRL+L).
VLC Limitations
While VLC is great for quick viewing, it does not support an interactive TV Guide (EPG) and VOD navigation is clunky compared to dedicated apps like IPTV Smarters.
Method 3: Using an Android Emulator (For TiviMate)
Many users love premium Android-only apps like **TiviMate** or **XCIPTV**. You can easily run these on Windows 10/11 using a free Android emulator like BlueStacks.
Install BlueStacks
Download and install BlueStacks 5 from their official website. This software acts as a virtual Android device running inside your Windows computer.
Open Google Play Store
Launch BlueStacks, open the Google Play Store app within the emulator, and sign in with your Google account.
Install Your Favorite App
Search for TiviMate, XCIPTV, or Smarters Pro. Install it just like you would on an Android phone, open it, and enter your MODE IPTV credentials.
